They're coming for us

  • AVATAR

    • Detects collisions with Raycasts.

    • Moves horizontally with the left joystick.

      • Max speedacceleration and deceleration are customizable in the editor.​

    • Gravity is constantly pushing it down.

      • Max force, and acceleration are customizable in the editor.

    • Detects if it is grounded.

    • Jumps if grounded with the A Button (X360 controller).

      • Jump strength is customizable in the editor.

    •  Throw Companion if he has it.

      • Throws Companion left with the X Button X Button (X360 controller).​

      • Throws Companion right with the B Button (X360 controller).

      • Throw strength, and direction are customizable in the editor.

    • Recall Companion with the Y Button (X360 controller).

      • Companion disappear and Avatar can use Throw again.​

    • Catapult Jump if he has companion by holding X Button/B Button (X360 controller).

      • Avatar jumps high, but his horizontal movement is greatly damped​.

      • Catapult strength, and horizontal movement's dampening ratio are customizable in the editor.​

  • COMPANION

    • Detects collisions with Raycasts.​

    • Gravity is constantly pushing it down.

    • Its horizontal speed are constantly damped.

    • Activates switches when it collides with them.

    • Deactivate switches when recalled from inside a switch.

    • Returns to Avatar after a delay if it misses a switch.

      • Return delay is customizable in the editor.​

  • FOG

    • Moves constantly.​

      • Can move horizontally, or vertically.​

      • Its speed is customizable in the editor.

    • Makes a Respawn when it hits Avatar : 

      • Avatar and Fog returns to their respective position.​

    • Triggers a sound effect when it enters the screen.

      • Volume gradually reduces to 0.
      • A delay after the sound is inaudible prevents the sound from overlapping.​
      • Volume decreasing speed, and Delay are customizable in the editor.

  • SWITCHES

    • Activated when Companion hits it :

      • ​Makes platforms move.
      • Makes platforms appear/disappear.
    • Deactivate when Companion is returned :​

      • Makes platforms stop moving.​

      • Makes platform appear/disappear.

​

  • SAFE ZONES

    • Works as Checkpoints when Avatar enters it.​

      • Register Fog's position.

    • Its Doors blocks Fog when closed.

    • Its Doors let Fog move through when opened.

    • Its Doors automatically opens when Avatar is near them.

    • Its Doors automatically closes when Avatar exits Safe Zone.

  • WATER​

    • Dampen Avatar movement, and Jump strength.

      • Movement and Jump strength dampening ratio are independently customizable in the editor.​

    • Disable the use of Catapult Jump.​
